German Dynasties

The Germans never imposed their own exclusive kinship on the Hungarians, all of whom were descended from the original chieftains. Included below are the seven Prince Electors of the HRE, including the Bishoprics of Mainz, Trier and Cologne. The Hapsburgs, Hohenzollerns and Babenbergs are indicated in the main family tree file.
