Family Pedigrees
These pedigrees were collected and are used to track relations through the principal DNA sites including ancestry.com, 23&Me, family Tree DNA, MyHeritage DNA, GEDMatch and Geni DNA. Posted also is a work sheet used to connect to individuals on principally ancestry.com and 23&Me, that established the genetic link to the Spencer-Churchills.
The entire male line of the Spencers and Churchills is mapped out from the beginning (1595 and on).
Incredibly, 75%+ of their offspring were female, so few names survive. Of the
thousand odd descendants of John Churchill of 1595, there exist no additional
Spencer-Churchills than the 9 descended from Winston Churchill, and the 14
descended from the 7th Duke. The name is extinct from all of the
descendants of the 5th and 6th Dukes. Of the Spencers (the name used by the 4th
Duke and earlier, down from Winston Churchill (1620-1688)), there exist only
living 8 Spencers, including the brother of Diana (the 9th Earl Spencer), and a
Mathematics Harvard PhD from Victoria, British Columbia.

Palace's location was the
negotiating point for the kings of Wessex and Mercia, and Queen
Elizabeth I was jailed there.
